Looking at the open against UGA in starting this season...

What Uga’s strengths and weaknesses coming into this season?
Maybe some of the bored leghumpers could help me out here...
What jumps out as any mismatched on either side of the ball? Is Uga supposed to have a good D this year?

Our defense will have some similarities as yours. Both us and y'all will have one of the better DLs in college football, and we will be very good at LB as well. Lots of depth at both levels. We will, however, have some holes to fill at DB - particularly CB. We will have a lot of warm bodies to work with, but not much experience returning. Our secondary is probably the biggest question mark facing the team.
On Offense, we will be very deep and experienced at all of the skill positions. All of our top RBs and WRs come back, and most of our TEs. JT Daniels is back at QB, and we'll have a good competition among True Fr Brock Vandagriff, RFr Carson Beck, and Sr Stetson Bennett for depth. We lost a couple OL to the draft, but we've got a lot of guys returning, so it will be a question of plugging the right guy into the right spot.

LOL! With all those weaknesses, wonder why we even bother. Oh well, I guess we'll show up just the same. Of course what would that say about your program if we can somehow even stay on the field with your guys?

including Clemson and if y'all beat us (to me is very possible) talent could be the reason.
However I will say this. To me the offensive scheme/philosphy and lack of innovation or willingness to "adapt" to today's offensive college football has prevented UGA from winning one or multiple national titles over the last 10-15 years. I used to always think if Bama/saban ever went to the spread offense they'd be almost unstoppable............Well, they did and they are pretty much impossible to stop when combined with the talent they get every year.
If I was a UGA fan I would wish for Kirby to do the same b/c they would have similar results. Y'all are already good w/o it, but this day and age of CFB you have to score 40-45+ to win the national title.

What I have read is very similar to what RedDawg said. They are loaded offensively and feel like they found their QB at the end of last year. Defensively they lost some players, but are very talented. It should be a tough, hard fought game. Our guys need to be ready.

Biggest weakness would have to be the quality of their fan base followed closely by the value of the degree their players receive. Game day Kirby is in third and smell of their mascot after a good rain in fourth.

Both teams present match-up problems for each other.
The Obvious Matchups Problems
-Our WRs are a matchup problem for their young Secondary.
-Their D Line is a bad matchup for our underachieving O Line
Unsure but Potential Matchup Problems
-Their O Line struggled against physical D Lines like Cincinatti and MSU so this may be a good matchup for us.
-Their WR vs our safeties. It should be obvious by now that Turner and Zanders are overmatched athletically against elite and fast WR, which UGA has. Hoping one of your younget safetites can come along in the off-season to boost our athleticism at that posititon.

modern era of college football, UGA has -0-, but congrats on beating Cincinnati, that was a good mid major ball team. Plus, I think Kirby is a lot different than Richt, so I expect big things from UGA in the near future.
