have not seen much on this site about Darius who had a severe injury against Virginia Tech and was carted from the field. I thought he was to have surgery this past week, but I have not seen any reports about how it went. His injury ended his season and may have football career implications also.

Got some word from a very trusted source (an athletic trainer) about 30 min ago.
The knee was completely dislocated. LCL and ACL are completely shredded. Its possible the MCL and PCL are only partially torn or even intact but both are also likely damaged. No obvious damage to the tibia or other bone, but it may be partially fractured.
Its bad. Done for the season. Its possible his 2013 season (whether NFL or college) is in doubt.

kid gets hurt u gotta put your emotions aside. I hate usc but i hate to see a kid get hurt like that even more. sad news for him.

Proud of the Clemson fans and how they have responded to Lattimore's injury. Somehow, if the shoe were on the other foot, I don't think it would be that way. Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

Can't speak for others, but I sure as heck wouldn't want this to happen to Watkins or Boyd or someone else. Not a major injury like this, especially two years in a row.

I want SCar to lose every game in every sport but the rivalry stops with injuries. I dont want anyone from this state or anyone who chose to come to school in our state to have any injury whatsoever. I hope they find some positive things that gives him a chance to come back and live his dream at the next level.

No one is discrediting what happened to Robinson, yes that was bad and we still mourn and pray for him and his family. Is it bad that we also pray for Lattimore and his family also? Lattimore may have just suffered a career ending injury so if anyone is upset about praying for him or his familiy, flame away! Really!!! No one deserves to get hurt but most importantly, no one derserves a career ending injury, if that is what it is! Get over yourselves!
