My sister, brother, and my oldest son all grew up in Clemson, but went to SCAR simply to get away from home.
They are all 100% Clemson fans in sports.
Heck, I went down there for grad school myself.

I will never understand this, but each to their own I guess.
I grew up in Seneca and there was never a doubt that I was going to Clemson. Grad school is one thing (if it's not offered anywhere else, or you're already in Columbia for a job, or a handful of other reasons), but for undergrad, I don't understand how you could go to SCar as a "100% Clemson fan in sports".
