Any good OC would love to have the tools

Dec 12, 2012, 7:38 AM

to work with that ChadMo has been given.

He walked into a great situation with great talent and good kids.

If he walks away from it, obviously he has enough motivation (money, need to advance, etc.) to make it worth his while.

But, don't think for a second that other OC's don't salivate over the potential to work with the embarrassment of riches that Chad was so fortunate to inherit.

Even with just the talent on hand, a good OC could come into Clemson and have immediate success.

The cupboard aint empty. Clemson sells itself. Dabo knows how to find good hires.

We need a good DB coach.

If Chadmo leaves, somebody else will gladly take his job.

I just wish he'd man up and tell us and quit leaving everyone in limbo about it. He obviously has it if he wants it. Why can't he just say hey I'm leaving guys, or Hey, I'm a Clemson Tiger and let's whips some a** in the chic bowl and win a nat'l title in 2013, then he can move on with a possible Heisman Trophy qb under his belt, a nat'l title as OC and a wonderful 3 years at Clemson. A much better resume than jumping ship before LSU to go TTech when with that resume he may get offered a much better job.......I've never seen as many vacancies as I have this year in college football for coaches at one time. Pathetic~

The talent we possess on offense would work in ANY system. Thats isa true statement.

The real issue is going to be how much of that talent decides to leave for the NFL if Morris goes.

Clemson has talent on the depth chart, but most of it is unproven at the college level.
