Anthony Richardson

Will be the best QB out of the draft this year.

Marking it as of 06/10/2023.

Maybe best at being a bust 😂

He's like 90% likely to be a bust and 10% a superstar

No chance at all of him being an average starter or professional backup.

He's the Mitch Trubisky of this class. Play one season have mediocre stats and get drafted high bc NFL scouts may be the sinhle biggest group of losers in any one field of employment. I wouldn't hire an NFL scout to pour draft beer much less rate players for a draft.

Off the chart measurables -- size, speed, arm...basically, all you could want in creating a QB.

However, though I didn't watch many UF games, he didn't seem to pop to me like Bryce Young or even CJ Stroud when I tuned in.

That doesn't mean he didn't make some highlight plays but I didn't see another Lamar Jackson, Michael Vick, or Randall Cunningham playmaking ability that was worth drafting that high IMO.

Right now, can't argue with the measurables but, offhand, this guy is all hype and a project pick. Maybe he pops off like Justin Herbert did for the Chargers but he definitely flashed more at Oregon compared to Richardson at UF.

I'm curious to see what happens. Colts either hit big or they'll be drafting another QB in a couple of years.

Lol, I remember when Clemson recruited a guy like that.

One of the things that separates college QBs from...

...NFL QBs is accuracy.

It is general consensus that one of Richardson's biggest weaknesses was his accuracy. If some NFL coach can teach him to be accurate (the windows in NFL are much smaller than the windows in NCAA) then he has a good shot at being a fine QB. But, he couldn't consistently hit the open window in NCAA, so color me doubtful.

Reminds me of a QB that just left Clemson.

Broke the record for jump measurements for a QB in the combine, and ran a 4.43. Dude is an absolute superhuman athlete.

He has obviously shown capability to sling it with that arm he’s got. He’s going to have his interceptions, but the Colts have an offense where you don’t absolutely HAVE to rely on passing. With Jonathan Taylor and their O-Line, this will be a duo just as feared as Trevor and Travis. Running that read option.

I agree with you here. He didn't go that high up by chance, he has real upside. Josh Allen, although dealing with bad talent around, threw for around 50 percent completion ar Wyoming and threw a tremendous amount of picks.

Josh Rosen, same class. Baker, same class. His talent is seen by people smarter than us. I watched all UF games this year. He's a product that needs maturity and could be an all pro.
