I guarantee 100% that the crew last night was severely schooled before the game to make no game-deciding bad calls against UGA that would have kept them out of the playoffs that iit was in their heads the entire game to be careful that obvious penalties were not called.

Come on ... The ACC has no interest in Clemson losing to USC. The chances that Miami would lose to Syracuse were slim to say the least and with a Clemson win vs SC, the ACC stood to possibly get a third team into the playoff - that's a lot of money. I'm not buying that "the ACC has never liked Clemson". That was true in the 80s but since Clemson's been carrying the water for the conference in football (which means big, big money), we've been the darling. They've protected us in scheduling as well as on the field. We had two bye weeks this year - how many times do you see that happening.

Thanks for clearing that up. The SUC refs took over when they saw UGA couldn’t win on their own.
There will be SUC refs at Clemson for today’s game. It really doesn’t matter because the ACC has it in for us as well.

Yes some bad calls were made but GT had so many chances to win and couldn't get it done. The refs had zero to with them not executing with the game on the line.

If, during regulation, GA Tech scores another FG or UGA misses out on a score because the bad call(s) didn’t happen, then GA Tech wins without OT needed.
Of course bad calls made a difference in the outcome of the game.

UGA might have missed if Tech and Texas both won. That was what Alabama hoping for to jump in. Ohio State upset to miss Big 16 title as funny as Miami’s. Since playoff ranking started Miami and Ohio State in top 4 every time. So funny cause first ranking after Oregon beat Ohio State. Be Karma if Michigan bumped them out of playoffs. Alabama still has chance steal that spot

Did they ever call an offensive line holding penalty against UGA ? They called 4 against Texas in the first half.
