I had trouble finding non-MAGAt candidates on my GOP ballot. Sad day.

Again. I find it more and more difficult to differentiate though at the lower/local levels between MAGA candidates and rational republicans.

If you cannot see what Biden and Democrats are doing to this Country, you are blind. Glad we all know where you stand with because a no vote is a vote for Biden and the current regime.
So when #### hits the fan, we know who to blame. I like it when people voice their vote cause it will be easy to know who caused the mess.

It's OK to admit you are a Democrat. The Rockefeller Republican Party - which seems to be the GOP you are lamenting the loss of - has terminal cancer and is on it's deathbed.
Simply put - too many of the Republican voting base, have had it with Republican Inc. and their DC swamp games. Republican Inc. has stuck their "Democrat Lite" policy knives in our backs too many times and we will never willingly allow these milquetoast Republican Inc. duds to dominate the GOP again. Doesn't mean we want MAGA nutcases but I'm done with holding my nose and pulling a lever for Republican Inc. only to see them do nothing towards advancing a conservative agenda and even supporting leftist positions.
If your policy positions align with Democrats then quit struggling with it and just accept that you are now "Democrat Alex". I truly have never seen you post anything that mildly reflects a conservative policy or agenda or counter any of the Democratic/leftist policy positions stated on this board.
All I see you do is complain about "MAGA", "Trump" and the current state of the GOP but never actually see you discuss conservative policies or what you oppose in the Democratic policies. Therefore, I think you are now "Democrat Alex" and should just accept it....

Conservativealex isn't a Democrat. And Trump, while a Republican, is not a conservative.
Whether you're a member of a party is a simple question of party membership, and there are no rules for what a member has to believe or value in order to be a member. Liberalism and conservatism, as vague as they are, have to do with your beliefs and values.

I look at expressed and demonstrated policy agenda/actions. That's it.... if "Conservative Alex" has posted anything other than the GOP sux because it's all MAGA then I have not had the good fortune of actually seeing it.
But maybe you guys can point to some of Conservative Alex's posts where he puts forth conservative policies and/or defends conservative policies and an overall conservative agenda?? Maybe there is an actual intellectual conservative needle in his thick haystack of "Trump sux", "MAGA sux" and now the "GOP sux" posts...
As for Trump not being a conservative - no argument from me on that. Trump is a narcissistic carnival barking opportunist. But that hardly makes him "unique" in politics as I challenge anyone to name a career politician that isn't a narcissistic opportunist. Trump's shtick is just "pearl clutching" to some because he doesn't back off, soften, or wrap his political barking in the typical "gentlemanly" DC weasel word salad lingo and instead bluntly delivers a message that some feel is rough as a cob.
So if the vast majority of politician's are carnival barking opportunists - then what is a conservative voter left to do?? IMO it's ignoring the carnival barking and looking at the actual policy agenda, expressed policy desires, and if they have a record - actual/attempted policy implementation.
If you compare Trump's policy positions and what he actually implemented/attempted during his first term - they are a heck of lot more conservative than his recent Republican Inc. predecessors and by every measure more conservative from what the Democrats offer. Does Trump actually believe his own policy BS?? Who knows - but if he at least puts forward a 50% effort towards a conservative agenda in practice then that is 50% more than Republican Inc. has been doing and 100% more than the Democrats.

No. Alex has been posting here for over 20 years and his positions have been pretty clear. It doesn't have to be proven he's a conservative. He was also a staunch Trump defender during his first term and turned on Trump after Jan. 6. Do you think he magically became a Democrat with leftist ideology after that?
This is why y'all push people away from Trump because you immediately slap a label on anyone who criticizes him or MAGA. "Oh, you're all Democrats! You're all liberals!" This was stupidity that drove independents away from Trump in 2020. The cult was in full swing and how dare anyone question it.

When one party exists entirely to utilize the govt as a cudgel to force its values on everyone else and the other party just sits around and does nothing, other than slightly inhibit the first parties goals, when in power which party do you expect to ultimately prevail? Guess what? It isn't the second one and that's Republican Inc, which is completely content to cut a few taxes and not be Democrats. No goals, no agenda and try not to upset the other side. A recipe for disaster. No wonder they hate the only guy that'll tell members of each of the above parties to #### themselves. How many more hyperventilating pretend Republicans can we tolerate over the next eight months?

Republicans are racist for voting for old white guys but when Kamala or Gabbard couldn't get anyone anywhere to vote for them that was just straight up voter preference.
