Did you spend your cut of the $3.5 - $4 Trillion Trump gave you for assistance during COVID? Hey, other than COVID, Trump added about $4.5 Trillion to the deficit which carried over to September 2021. It's still a lot but Biden-Harris passed that months ago and we still have 10+ more months to get through wherever that ends up.

His deficit spending without COVID was out of control. The guy isn't fiscally conservative.

Rubio is the worst one imo. An Israel first warmonger. Next worst is Stefanik. Third is Gaetz. The rest are awesome.

It makes me decidedly unhappy that it occurred in our nation’s history. Murph needed to be reminded that his choice of example was a poor one.

Robert McNamara's credentials were also pretty questionable to become Secretary of Defense. Smart guy though. I think he was CEO of Ford at the time he switched careers.

What else is he?

In 2020, Hegseth volunteered as one of the up-to-25,000 National Guard troops authorized by the Pentagon to be put on active duty to protect the inauguration of President Joe Biden on January 20, 2021, but was removed from that mission because he was one of twelve soldiers "linked to 'right-wing militia groups,' or found to have 'posted extremist views online.'"[23][24] Hegseth said that he was removed from the assignment because of a "Jerusalem Cross tattoo, which is just a Christian symbol."[23]
He's a National Guard reservist, an "entertainment" network host, and a poor axe thrower. What else are we missing?

Reservist and an entertainer? What else? I assume that’s a serious question so I think I’ll just step away. What a stupid question. Excuse me, not stupid. Ignorant.

Does he have 20 years military experience? Veteran of several wars? Couple bronze stars? Princeton and Harvard grad? Nah he’s just a talk show host. By the way, I don’t tap out. Unlike you I have more to do than hang out on this board.

Also a combat veteran. Maybe you should watch some of his interviews and read his book. I agree with everything he’s said and he has great ideas to fix the bs that’s been going on in our military.

Ratcliffe was Director of National Intelligence, so being the pick for CIA chief seems reasonable.
Elise Stefanik is tough and bright. She certainly seems capable and I don't think is a step down from the last several US ambassadors to the UN.
Kristi Noem, no friend to unruly dogs, almost certainly will be a better Homeland Security Director than "the border is secure", Mayorkas.
Hard no on Gaetz, very questionable pick of Hegseth, although the Pentagon needs to refocus its purpose which is to "kill people and break things."
Gabbard is all over the place, so I don't like her as DNI.
All is too strong of a word in my opinion, which counts for nothing. Gaetz is truly a ridiculous pick and I don't think he will make the cut.

She can almost see a border from her state, and her dance skills will come in handy.
I don't have an issue with her nomination either. Gaetz and Tulsi are headscratcher.

Not saying she's a good pick.
However, She does have executive experience, is tough enough to kill her own dog and almost assuredly will be better at the job than the gaslighter in chief Alejandro Mayorkas, who has put Baghdad Bob to shame.
