It's sad when the healthcare leader of the country can't just come out and say what's obviously true, which is that the way to stop this outbreak of measles and future outbreaks of measles is near-universal vaccination, and that this vaccine is safe & doesn't cause autism.

I don't even blame Trump for the drop in coverage. But it's worth nothing that the biggest slippage has occurred in red states, where vaccine denial has surged since the pandemic.

Which wasn't even Spanish but that's a whole other story. He was working at a NYC hotel and felt ill. Went home, got in bed, and was dead the next day. One of the earliest Spanish Flu deaths in the first wave.
