7 lounges, restaurants, beer. Baseball is a slow-paced game, facilities matter to the fans as well as the players. More entertainment in the stands = more fans, more distractions over a 3 hour game.

has been their head coach. This will be the 5th time they've been to a regional, but have only been to 1 super regional--in 2011. Not the record Jack's compiled for sure. I think they have a great team and facilities for a school with an enrollment of about 5500. Go Tigers!!

What kind of 'fans' are so mad that 'their' team is making an end of the season run that they have to dig so far as to google searches on other teams to show the facilities that they have and compare them to Clemson. Must be a very sad, slow, life for some people. GO TIGERS!!! KEEP WORKING HARD AND PUSH TOWARD YOUR GOALS!!!!! While some 'fans' on this board smile everytime Clemson loses, the rest of us are laughing every time we win! And this season we kicked the smilers #####.

This is actually a really stupid argument. Dallas Baptist is in the heart of a baseball rich city, in a baseball rich state. They are exactly the kind of school that has benefited greatly from the NCAA's scholarship rules changes. They compete in the Missouri Valley Conference so they don't have to have the nicest in the country. Just in their conference - and they probably do.

It might not be big, but it is new and very nice looking. The facilities battle is entirely relative. Nice try though.

Yeah, plus second only to California in High School talent per Perfect Game. California and Texas combine for over 20% of the Perfect Game 500. South Carolina about 1%. I can't seem to figure out why the best schools for baseball traditionally come from those states.
