You are so right. That is just totally lame and weak as a dishrag. How can these announcers call that a "Greatest entrances in football" or even anything close to that? Horrible and almost as cringeworthy as the shower curtain Choo Choo chicken........no wait.....I said almost.

Speak for yourself. I have experienced at night. It’s not Clemson but it’s my 3rd favorite in the ACC. To 5 in college football to me.

Yep. So over rated and over hyped. Something they have only been doing since the 90's is hardly a tradition. It's too new money and cootish.
It's pretty amazing that its going on 3 decades since the Hokies have been relevant on the national stage especially with the easy schedule they have been handed by the ACC like having BC as their permanent rival when we had divisions and the pitiful coastal division they played in.

Many schools have traditions besides the marching band. Wisconsin - Jump Around? Penn State - Zombie Nation (We Are Penn State), Alabama - Dixieland Delight, LSU - Louisiana Saturday Night / B I t ch I’m from Louisiana, etc…. List goes on.

I think it’s awesome. There’s something about that cash song as they clap as the team brings the flags around and then Enter Sandman comes on. Ever since I was a kid it gives me chills. It’s second to running down the hill to me.

I don't know that I would call it lame. Just dated.
The Shamecocks have been entering the stadium to Sprach Zarathustra (that's the theme for 2001) since...
Well, Elvis began his concerts with it so I'd say somewhere around 1977. Again, dated.
Nancy State enters to Welcome to the Jungle and some red fireworks. Which you can't really see during the day. And wolves aren't really something I associate with a jungle. I would call that lame and dated.
There are others that have become "famous". But few rarely pass the test of time as they are nothing more than fads.
The Tigers have been running down the hill since 1942. That is what's know in college football parlance as a "tradition".
