excessive. I didn't listen to the whole thing but at some point, it ends up not being effective anymore and it is just saying a whole bunch of curse words. Drop an F-Bomb every now and then but you have to know when and where to use it. And there were alot of GDs in there too, so he certainly chose the words that would get the biggest reaction.

and I coach well, you know.......and dropping an eff bomb doesn't get the same reaction it would from boys. If I did coach boys, I prob would sprinkle a few in to get their attention.
But I've heard football coaches two weeks ago that were ten times worse.

if he wants to be effective. Some people respond to that well, some people think they are being cursed out. His just seemed like he wasn't even mad, he just uses alot of curse words. In that manner, it wasn't going to motivate, it was just putting the kids down.

Our coach was Kurt Wilson. Look him up. Former USC player. Think he now coaches at Wilson Hall. That guy was the TENSE in intense. Cussed WAY worse than this guy in Kentucky. This would have been one of Coach Wilson's calmer, more "clean" locker room speeches, if we were losing. Heck, this is about the same speech he'd give if we were winning but not blowing them out.

He broke the rules of this soft generation. They are supposed to get hugs and applaud him as he walks around in circles flaunting his saggy balz, eat some orange slices, and discuss the merits of allowing the other team to improve their self esteem with bigger numbers on the scoreboard.
In all honesty, this could have been me after junior replaced the bag in the trash can incorrectly. Gotta have standards...
