Pretty sure I read that the coaches said he was healthy enough to go back in the second half and they just kept him out as a precaution, which would strongly indicate head injury rather than any broker bones.

I was a bit concerned because it looked more or less like what you see happen to dozens of receivers each week that hop right back up after it, laying out for a catch and hitting the ground but his head didn't appear to hit the ground very hard with anywhere near the force we've seen on the targeting hits that have knocked players out from time to time.
So I was fearing he might have had some medical condition that had suddenly revealed itself like when you see high school and college basketball stars suddenly drop out of nowhere  Suffice it to say I was very relieved to see him eventually walking off the field.

Lol jeez dude, you sound like my mom, automatically assumes the absolute worst case scenario in any situation.
Hunter had a huge impact on his head, it whiplashed into the ground and he couldnt brace at all to take away any of the impact.

Looked to me like he fell directly on the ball - - but also seemed to be holding his arm or not being able to raise it when they walked him off. Hope he's able to come back vs SC and/or Pitt - certainly by playoffs if we make it.

To me, it looked like he fell on the ball on his midsection. I was thinking the wedding would need postponing a little to heal up (°•°)

He knocked himself out. He was unconscious for sure after his head hit the ground his whole body went limp. Wish him a swift recovery I know from experience that is no fun.

I voice a personal prayer before every Clemson game asking that every player on both teams be kept free of injury. That said, players who excel play with a reckless abandon without thought of possible pain or injury. That is what makes college football so exciting for the fans, and inherently dangerous for the participants. We all love Hunter Renfrew because of the heart he has for the sport. My continued prayers for Hunter's full recovery, whatever the injury. I trust the Clemson staff will use the utmost discretion in Hunter's treatment and getting him back on the field. It is young men like Hunter Renfrew that exude that Tiger Pride that makes me a Clemson Tiger supporter and fan.

We're hearing from people close to Hunter's family that he should be fine by ACC CG. I imagine the medical staff will decide by midweek if he's back for SCar.
