to get it done!
I texted my Clemson buddies in the middle of the 2nd qtr and said, “Gamecocks will win this game” and, sadly, I was right. (My Tiger buddies on here reading this — you lost the bet and owe me a dinner at Outback)
Man, those gamecock fans were, in a word, HAPPY...
Georgia must win out to make play offs. Possible, but I would not bet on it happening. Schedule too tough with Florida, Texas A&M, Missouri, and Auburn, and then either LSU, Auburn, or Alabama in SECCG. Right now, I think Florida wins the East.
Dawgs need to recruit better players and this years class is CRITICAL.
Clemson. Tigers did what they had to do. Next week Louisville. Win.
Top 5 now: 1) LSU 2) Alabama 3)Ohio State 4) Clemson 5) Oklahoma
I love College Football!!!

That win has at least temporarily convinced them that Muschamp is the right guy to lead their program.

Good for several reasons: first as you point out, Muschamp survives another season. Good. Second, it boosts our SOS for the playoff committee. Third, it sets up cockfans for another crushing disappointment when they lose again.

He has the best recruits money can buy and still finds a way to crap in the bed.

Yet another example of excuse making by a Georgia fan. Subtle, but an excuse indeed...
“We need to recruit better players”
Georgia has 60 4&5-stars on the team. Only Alabama has more (69), and literally no one is even close to having that much talent. No one (not even Bama) has as many 5-stars, and you have twice as many 5-stars as Clemson.
Get out of here with your shady typical excuses. You need better coaching. Period. Always have. Always will.

Hahaha. “Need more talent.” Good one. You mean more talented coaches? You obviously haven’t been paying attention to recruiting rankings and star ratings in the last 3 or 4 years.

That game was one of the worst coached games from both teams I have ever seen. Either one of those teams would have gotten beaten by a good team yesterday. Awful game. I could have coached it better I feel bad for the players.

The dogs will not lose more games because "the schedule is too tough." Opponent toughness was certainly not the problem yesterday.
They will lose more games because they are mediocre, as usual.

An analogy. I can bench 225 five reps..
Oct 13, 2019, 11:02 AM
|
|
Less than 1% of people on EARTH can bench 225 (free weights) 1 time. I can do 5 reps with 225.
However, if I am injured that is not possible.
The dawgs, for whatever reason, are “injured” too often.
Players? Coaching? Who knows?

INJURED?! Seriously?! You do know SCAR started the game with a true freshman QB (bc of injury to 1st string QB) and finished the game with a group of 5 qb? They also didn’t finish the game with their best WR.
What other excuse you got? Wind blowing too hard? UGGA was constipated? Sun was in Fromm’s eyes?

Kirby gonna Kirby. 3 games in 3 years where poor coaching and game strategy played a big role in losing a game they should have won. With all that talent it should not have been close.

THIRD string!!!! That was the biggest OMG of the whole day to me.
Four turnovers killed the dogs. Hard to survive when you lose that many positions, especially when they score on one and you get no points in OT on the other.

You bought one of the best recruiting classes of all time in 2018. Heres a hint: talent isn't the problem.
