the revenue disparity is not sustainable and the importance of finding a way out of this overly punitive and inequitable GOR deal is of paramount importance and cannot be overstated.

contract is in no way shape or form competitive with the SEC and Big Ten. Either the conference steps up and increases revenues for its members or a school should have the legal right to leave for more financial opportunity.

That agreement was put in place after Maryland left for the B1G.
Maryland ended-up forfeiting nearly $32 million of revenue for leaving the ACC, negotiated down from the $52 million the league was claiming. If the exit penalty was that low today, Clemson (among others) would be gone by now.
Today, because of the term of the GOR, which runs through 2036, the exist fee would be closer to $120 million.
