Makes total sense. This leads me to believe, contrary to actions and words of the democrats, that black people are not naturally less intelligent than whites.
Black voter turnout dropped by nearly 10 percentage points, from 51.7% in the 2018 midterm elections to 42% in 2022, according to a Washington Post analysis of the U.S. Census Bureau's survey released earlier this year. White voter turnout slipped by only 1.5 points to 53.4%.
One in five Black people under the age of 50 voted Republican in the 2022 midterms, roughly double the number of their elders.
Every four years, Democratic candidates talk about increasing Black wealth and closing the gap between Black and white Americans, but "nothing actually really happens.
The U.S. Black unemployment rate has fallen to historic lows under Biden, but hit a 10-month high in June, driven in large part by Black workers leaving the labor market

With respect to ‘blacks are not as smart as whites’ comments attributed to NC_Tiger, you know that he detailed the statistical aspects of ‘intelligence’ test scores between whites and blacks. Emphasis on STATISTICAL.
The IQ graph has for the X-axis is the IQ score (farthest left point being 0 and the the farthest right point is 250) and the Y-axis being the percentage of the population which has a specific IQ score. There are minuscule % of population which have IQ score of < 25; for each point on the X-axis going to the right, the % of the population rises; at the point on the X-axis which represents IQ 100, the largest % of the population (the largest number on the Y-axis) will be directly above that “100 IQ” value which is on the X-axis. For each point on the X-axis further to the right, the corresponding point on the Y-axis gets smaller.
All of this represents something remotely similar to a ‘bell shaped curve.’
Statistical comparison of white people, Asians, and black people reveal the following (relatively speaking; not absolute):
White people: The apex (highest point on the Y-axis) … we’ll call it 100.
Black people: The apex of the Y-axis … shifted to the left … we’ll call it 95.
Asian people: Y-axis apex … shifted to the right … we’ll call it 105.
(*). Within the bell curves for each ‘race’ there are many many blacks who are smarter than the average whites and Asians. (Many blacks with IQ = 110, most whites with IQ = 100 and most Asians with IQ = 105.)
(*). Also (within the same three different bell curves), there are many many whites and Asians who are not as smart as blacks. (Many whites with IQ < 85 and many Asians with IQ < 90.)
Comparing the overall populations of blacks, whites, and Asians, the blacks are STATISTICALLY not as intelligent as whites and Asians.

But not in the way Democrats often approach it. A strong social safety net is good, but the best thing government can do is reform policies that created this wealth gap to begin with.
The biggest one being justice reform that a) puts people in prison for petty, non-violent offenses (e.g. simple possession) often times removing the primary income earner from the family, and b) makes it impossibly hard to get honest work with a criminal record.* The other is land-use policies that make building affordable housing (or more housing, for that matter) difficult and expensive. Housing stability is a major factor in income stability and mental health, and we're only going to bring down housing costs by building more inventory. There are more areas for improvement, but these are just off the top of my head.
I think we tend to overlook that we are not far, generationally speaking, from government-imposed policies that dramatically held blacks and minorities back economically. Urban renewal destroyed black communities. Redlining and racist restrictive covenants kept them from owning property. Segregation kept them out of medical and law schools. And all-around racism kept them from moving up in the corporate world (think about the studies about black names on job applications). A good metaphor is the difference in retirement savings if you start young, versus later in life. That gap grows dramatically the longer you wait, and institutional racism in government policy and society has held minorities back a long time. Things are definitely heading in the right direction now and progressives are idiots for suggesting we haven't made substantial progress, but it's still going to take a few generations to help close that gap. It's why it is so important to keep looking for reforms and make them now, even if we don't see the difference for decades.
*Some of this is on society, too. Private employers should really reconsider the stigma on criminal records if they don't work in an industry that requires a certain level of background-check security.

Interesting. I actually had a lengthy talk with a black man yesterday. I did not bring politics up but he did. He told me he was done with the democrat party. I asked him what caused him to feel that way. He told me it was the off the rails madness that defies common sense. (His words). He specifically talked about how insulting it is to black people when democrats compare the “civil rights” activism of the LGBTQ group to the history of civil rights struggles that black people have had. I think many black people are silently exiting the democrat party.

Clearly it's not working for Democrats, so if instead of lowering the party down to their standards, what happens if Republicans just ignored it, and spoke to independents with messaging that brought them into the party?
That's the thing with this moral equivalency of populists today. It's always, "Well Democrats are doing..." as if what Democrats are doing is somehow the new moral baseline. Populists have thrown away principle in favor of trying to play the same game they despise, and the pathetic showing at the voting booth are showing just how poorly this strategy is working. It's why people like Kari Lake are riding the Loser Train talking about what they would have done, instead of sitting in office bragging about what they are doing.

with messaging that isn't based on racism. Hispanics are a much better fit for the GOP -- religious, pro-family, small business, anti-tax, community minded. We've already seen them start to crossover with Trump. What is the untapped potential if we stopped referring to them as "invaders" and promoting replacement theory in which they're trying to run white people out of America. Same thing with blacks. Work a little empathy into the messaging in which we recognize the imbalance of justice within the criminal justice system, commit to fixing it (like we started to do in Florida, Texas, and elsewhere). Not talking full BLM messaging (which is a turn-off anyways), but basically avoiding talking like NC_Tiger_ does.

The messaging can be better. Republicans can do a better job reaching out to minorities even in spite of the mud slinging democrats do with the racism accusations, etc. I don’t think it’s the least bit racist to control our border and ask people to come legally or not at all. Every single one of my Hispanic friends agree with that.

Come on Man! The messaging you see is from the echo chamber. The messaging about pubs and racism is being propagated by the lefties.
How can pubs overcome social and MSM that have a bull horn 100x that of conservatives.
What is bringing over more blacks to vote republican is EXACTLY the kind of opinions I express here. The democrats are indeed the racists, making it virtually impossible for blacks to educate themselves out of the hood. They buy votes with freebies and promises, yet promises never materialize.
Over how many decades can the same thing happen?
Yeah, you and your echo chamber cannot take facts, which when written down by anyone makes them racist in your book. Yes, blacks commit violent crimes at 5x -7x the rate of whites. Yes, far more blacks kill whites than reverse, even in absolute numbers. Yes the black culture has major problems that it needs to confront before everyone can move forward. If those comments make me racist, then you are a POS like the rest of them.
As I have said before, there's no doubt I have invested 100x more personal time interacting with black kids than you will ever do in your keyboard warrior gig. You've probably never been in the home of a black family, probably never hired a black person, ... so get off your high horse.

Gubment dependence is what YOU want (because you need the block vote to win), and it is what you got. This is real racism and real systemic racism in plain site. You choose not to see it, however.
Conservatives, especially conservative blacks, know the only way out of the cycle of poverty and gubment dependence is education because ultimately the USA is a meritocracy and not an equi-tocracy (aka communist state), yet. You hate all black conservatives because the echo chamber tells you to. You ignore the common sense ideas from these people that are grounded in hard core, undeniable truth. These ideas are the ones that will have a chance to increase black education levels and move larger swaths of blacks into the middle class. As an aside, you must view Muhammad Ali as racist. Having returned from training in Africa for one of his fights, Ali was asked by a reporter what he thought of the continent of his ancestors.
