Even in the mid 90's Charleston was a hidden gem for people outside of the region. Asheville now is known by everyone all over the country. Are there any hidden gems left in this country that you know of?

Bozeman itself is meh, I run my errands there. It's got that gentrified area feel. Lots of black and white and sheet metal aesthetic. It's outdoor access is arguably tops in the country with Moab and Bishop CA. I'm spending a week there next month, will report back.

Boise is a Utopia. I couldn't believe how nice of a city it was. Clean, easy to get around, pretty. Not the best access to outdoor recreation. Probably about the same as Denver in my book.

Also, Shout-out Salida CO as a gem of a town.

small town, not a lot going on. I wouldn't say it's a cute town. Mostly a service spot for the north entrance to Yellowstone. Nice people, a few spots to eat, some hotels. The Yellowstone river runs through town. It's gorgeous. Pretty undeveloped for the scenery. Probably because it's old and remote and there's not a lot of place to spread out with the park boundary, the forest service boundaries, and the river.

The main building of the P. Ballantine & Sons brewery complex was demolished a few years ago and the brand founded in the city in 1840 by Scottish immigrant Peter Ballantine now belongs to the blue ribbon bottlers at Pabst.

Rents for the market-rate units will start at $2,000 for a studio apartment.

The airport opened on October 1, 1928, dubbed the Newark Metropolitan Airport. It was the first major airport to serve the New York metropolitan area, the first commercial airport in the United States, and the first with a paved airstrip. 3 hours from Midland/Odessa Airport, which might be smaller than GSP, but just as nice (then)

you get to a point where there's NOTHING for like 2 hours besides desert.

That *could* be a problem on the way back, if you partied like crazy for a week but turnt it up to 11 the last night, went to bed at 5am and was in the van w/ 12 other people by 7am, and had to come the realization that you might have to pull over and tdrake on the side of the road with absolutely nothing to shield you from view.

Redneck, nowhere good to eat. Hot, hut as far away from the beach as you can be in Florida

Traffic is terrible because the lights are nit synchronized

All of the horses and that industry is pretty cool though

Cuyahoga falls , downtown is on the up and up. Was there for a work event this past late summer. I couldn't live anywhere in OH but it was worthy of a visit.

The Charlestonians are fading. There are outrageously loaded people with connections that aren't from there. All you need is enough cash and you're in if you carry yourself well.

You do not want to do that!

This is the Darla Moore side of Lake City you see one week a year.

Go two blocks in either direction and that's the real Lake City.

And the real Lake City is
