It’s time for those of you portal lovers come out and admit you were wrong about Dabo, our Offensive line, WR’s and their coach, our offensive coordinator and our ability to have a shot at the playoffs.

No real Clemson fan likes pointing out flaws and weaknesses in the program but when we do… why come at us with something like this? Or label “coot”?
I enjoyed the offensive explosion the last 2 games as much as anyone but App St and NC St are obviously not very good. I would wait to start the “I told you so” until we play somebody that’s on or at least near our level.
We still have recruiting issues which is evident by losing 2 of our top guys over the last month or so. We still have issues with depth especially on defense. The portal argument is still very valid and it will come up again this season.
I’m thrilled with how they’ve looked the last 2 games but before we start crowning them… can we at least play someone with a pulse first?

Honestly, after 3 games it is hard for me to know for sure where we really are. We looked awful against a team better than us, and great against 2 teams who were not as good as us.
On paper, we may not play anyone as good as us until the ACC Championship. I'm of the ilk we just prepare one game at a time and perform as expected. Eventually, we will face someone as good as us and then we will see how it goes.

Our offense has exploded. We look like a totally different offense. Clemson football is fun again!
In contrast, during the Georgia game this year and for the last several years (of very lackluster offenses), Dabo had his laminated play sheet and could be seen smacking his gum and talking into his headset mic nearly nonstop between offensive plays while looking at it.
Coincidence? Nope.
The only person eating is Dabo, because he swallowed his pride when after finally recognizing that his need to control the details of our offense wasn’t working.
Dabo ditched the play sheet because he seems to have FINALLY realized that he was getting in the way of our offense. Good for him! It likely saved our season.

I already did it once and JK’s thread got deleted. He didn’t have the “Waffle House” menu against GA and the play sheet he had was in his hand, at times, in both other games. Tigernet has an extensive gallery if you actually care about reality. Choosing to believe the anti-Dabo argument without doing the work says more about you than me.

Riley calling the play made the receivers block downfield? Riley calling the play caused our linemen on both sides of the ball stronger and better able to handle blocking, tackling and assignments?
