Collins-obviously felt his PT wasn't going to be where he wanted it

Likely-DJ, best for all.

Personally, I think Pace transfers at some point. Too good to be third string. Don't see anyone else who has really made any mark going though, but who knows?

elect to enter the transfer portal at Clemson. It's been that way for years under Dabo. It's also the same type of players that will be entering the transfer portal from other schools. So for the most part we'd be trading our 2nd/3rd string players for other 2nd/3rd string players.

Clemson actually does a pretty good job of player retention and development; we definitely do not live by or die by the portal like some schools. Don't get me wrong, I think Dabo, should keep his eyes open and look to fill any immediate needs but as in years past the portal will be used sparingly.

A number of teams getting high ranked transfers entail tampering whereby a deal has already been made in advance of them leaving their teams.

The portal is merely a mechanism facilitating it.

all true -- BUT ALSO - lot's of coaching changes can allow
