I mentioned this a while back. Woman really did die. But, if you searched for her obit you got site after site with these AI generated obituaries. These AI obituaries are on multiple sites and don't list surviving family, and have these generic platitudes with little solid information (a word salad basically). There were even YOUTUBE videos of arab-looking guys with thick accents (could be Indian I guess) who read aloud the SAME AI obit, for this random lady from SC.

ANYWAY....today get a new claim. It seems now large insurance companies are falling for this garbage too. In fact, insurance companies are using AI to scour the internet for info, like when a claimant dies. The website/service they used is https://www.carpe.io/ Today I had the wonderful opportunity to see one of their "reports" from a large insurance company. OMG, this is just bad. I mean I should fear for my job security with this AI stuff, so I'm told. Lol. Not so. After seeing this AI report, I'm actually feeling more secure with my job than ever.

Get this, the AI generated report the insurance company PAID FOR, leads to an obituary from an AI generated website that's also AI. This is the source of information given to the insurance company.....

https://erldc.org/

I then went to the funeral home's website, and pulled the REAL obituary, which the AI website somehow scraped. It was incomplete and missing many details. Some names were incorrect.

I'm counting the days until I get a claim where someone didn't really die. It won't be long at this rate.

If you want to have a real hoot, just hop on the Twitter and search for erldc.org. Pay close attention to who cites that website in tweets.
