From what I see (most so called experts agree) our Tigers are a competitive team this year. Well, we always are competitive, but this season most believe we are as good as any team out there.
One huge deal that effects most teams every year is injury.
It can end a season if that injury is to the QB.
Tigers have an excellent QB and an excellent guy in the wings who can come in and win any game.
That is a HUGE advantage most teams do not have.
This guy is ready!

In 2018, I liked the way Chase Brice was ready and stepped in to save the day against Syrexcuse after TL16 was injured in his first start. Kelly Bryant was a whiner baby and stomped off crying, leaving us with third-string Brice. Worked out great.

I have watched every single snap of his at Clemson 2x, and I am just not seeing where the lightbulb has switched on yet. He certainly is not pushing Klubnik; that kid pushes himself. He can run the ball and has some speed, but lacks pocket awareness and flinches under pressure.
I hope he proves me wrong this season, but I think Chris Denson emerges this year. The kid is raw, but he has the "it" factor. The confidence is there, as is the ability to stretch plays, improvise, and there is enough arm talent to push the ball downfield.

Experience with the players and playbook is a huge factor.
CV has all the talent and experience needed to come in and win.
Few teams have a guy like him.

As always- I am!
I expect Klubnick to take all meaningful snaps this season and not be injured.
Even so, Dabo will put this guy in as often as possible to get him ready for next season where he may be #1.
I'll bookmark this thread so we can pull it up in DEC and see what happened.

He’s a good QB and Riley has developed him more and more every year.
If both QB’s got a cold our 3rd string looks like a Winner too!
