two, three or four teams in the playoff they've now decided that only one team from each conference will make it.

They seemed really perturbed that the media polls won't influence the selection process.

There is no way the politics of big time football will allow the SEC to bogart the playoffs like they did the BCS. There is too much money in play.

First. .I disagree. I completely believe the media will influence the selection. Where will the committee get tnet info ?

Second. . The bcs was not bogarted by the sec. In fact the bcs rules kept sec schools out of bcs bowls several times.

I only recall 1 time when bama was falsely put in the nc game vs lsu.

Not really, somehow over the past few days they reached an epiphany, the selection committee will produce and publish their own poll.

The whole process is setup to keep a conference from having two teams in. That is the reason there are 4 spots for 5 conferences. Everyone has known that from the beginning. Your SEC complex is the only reason anyone has even suggested two teams from same conference get in. They stipulated that conference championship games matter. Therefore, disqualifying 2nd place finishers in a conference.
