Sep 3, 2012, 11:32 AM

Who do you see having the better NFL career?

Ellington for sure***

Depends on which NFL picks him up. I predicted CJ would have

Sep 3, 2012, 11:35 AM

a better career than either of them... but when you get unlucky and get put behind a back like Fred Jackson, not much you can do about it.

Lattimore has the NFL body. Not sure AE will be a featured.

back in the NFL?

Lattimore without a doubt. Ellington will be a great back on the right team, but in a 2-RB system.

Which ever one stays the healthiest

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Lattimore is too fragile.

Sep 3, 2012, 12:09 PM

He has missed more time than AE and CJ and he has another year to go. That may be to the fact that Scar puts injured players back into the game (See Shaw this week).

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

His ACL injury was freakish if you actually saw what happend

Sep 3, 2012, 12:15 PM

Lattimore is very durable. He will definitely be a better back in a pro-style system. I could see Ellington excelling in a system like the saints run w/ Sproles or another committee heavy approach.

Still, it's obvious this was a retarded troll question from a coot. It's like comparing Apples to Oranges. They are two totally different backs with different skill sets.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Lattimore didn't finish a few other games before the ACL.

Sep 3, 2012, 12:17 PM

All injuries are freakish.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Any ACL injury can be freakish, but they can be devasating

Sep 3, 2012, 1:55 PM [ in reply to His ACL injury was freakish if you actually saw what happend ]

and difficult to regain 100%.

AND running backs are plentiful in the NFL. I'd take a healthy one, without any history of an ACL injury over one with history.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I will say this,Ellington seems to actually be the more

Sep 3, 2012, 12:18 PM

physical. He was running up the middle and at times laying the wood to AU defenders. There were lots of runs where I could hear the pop when he pounded through the line and ran over a few guys.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Ellington if he isn't injury prone

Sep 3, 2012, 1:40 PM

he has big play ability at the pro level similar to Chris Johnson not quite as fast but maybe better balance. Latimore will get pounded on a lot his speed and quickness will hinder him at the pro level. Their are LBs that may be faster in the league.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

AE --definitely. He is is leading Heisman race over L'more.

Sep 3, 2012, 1:58 PM

despite what The State Trashpaper says.

I am already tired of their Heisman watch a full page pic of L'more. He is a good player, but GIVE ME A BREAK! Getting 100 yard against Vandy is NOT a Heisman performance.

Latt's ability to catch the ball will make him a more versitile back in the NFL. He playes agaist some of the fastest players now,how do they become faster in the NFL?
