I’m not advocating that CBB should have been let go ever. But to even compare him to CDS is ludicrous. CBB has a career record of .599 and has no championships. CDS has a career record of .775 and 11 championships. I love Clemson athletics and hope the best for all teams.

at a basketball first school, with a history of national and conference championships, with a rabid fan base, and an administration who gives him the finest facilities and highest payroll for coaches.

All this, plus a fertile recruiting region as well as a conference ready-made for basketball success with a comparably easy path to the playoffs, he could do huge things.

Dabo Swinney was paid $800,000 annually in his first year as full-time head coach at Clemson University in 2009. This was the lowest salary for an Atlantic Coast Conference head coach at the time.

He earned his pay based on performance and results. Don't let facts elude you.

Turned down an early increase to redirect towards his staff...a conveniently overlooked bullet point. To be perfectly blunt, at no time has Dabo sought an increase...it was awarded.

Spare me. If Brownell was so great a basketball first school would have already come after him. Hes a good coach who is good at developing players, but his downfall is he can’t win championships. Could he win some sort of championship at a basketball school? I think he could, but I don’t think he could do it consistently.
