Good morning fellow Tiger fans. Well, it has been a tough few days. Our pride is hurt. Our egos have taken a beating. You know the old saying about pride going before the fall. I've been saying for a bit (not here but amongst my IRL friends and family) that we, over the course of the last few years, have become a little too big for our britches! No one likes to lose, including our opponents. So, with that said, congratulations to Coach Beamer and his boys. They earned it and we should all look inward to make sure that our responses to that are appropriate to our general ethos of winning with class and losing with dignity. I didn't save any player names for "post season" play. So today, I offer prayers for our seniors. I ask that they take joy into their play. I ask that they are showered in love from friends and family, enough to overcome all the crap they have to listen to on social media. I ask prayers that they look forward to each day and welcome all the challenges, knowing that what comes easy is often quickly lost but what requires effort often offers greater rewards. I hope that as they conclude their time as playing, active Clemson Tigers, that they never lose the pride in having been Clemson's Sons. A Clemson man needs no introduction. AND-win, lose or draw, it's all about the Paw. I am proud to be a Tiger fan. I am proud of our 10-win season and all the WORK these guys have put in. I look forward to Saturday, regardless of the outcome. And I will be rooting for our guys in this game, any other games we may play and onward in to any endeavors they pursue after their time as student athletes. Go TIGERS!
