ACC Championship Attendance

A coot Sunday School classmate was saying that you could buy good ACC Championship tickets for $5 and the stadium was still half full. I didn't have facts to counter that but still called "BS" (Well it was Sunday School so I only called "B"). Was he anywhere close to the truth? Tried to Google but couldn't find any numbers.
