the next few years.
8,9,13 all in the Atlantic division.
UNC and Miami will be coming off probation. And Miami has been recruiting really well under cloud of sanctions. I can't imagine what Golden can do when that is announced plus the new facilities being done.
VT might come back with the coaching change
it aint the SEC west but its not the Big 10 or Big 12 either.

Well, we definitely were for the CFB game, and I was so impressed, but where has that been all year? I want a repeat of that kind of mental and physical toughness in the Dogs game, and we should, because all of the nation saw that display on December 31.

defense that Venables is just starting to gel. It's amazing how much better the secondary was not having to cover that extra couple of seconds. Some of the line stunts and backside blitzes are starting to work and other than Goodman, all the DLs were Sophomores or Freshman. It's going to get NASTY next year and 2014.

trainwreck with FSU taking a step back next season.
Nearly every team is in a state of major rebuilding with the exception of FSU\Clemson.
When Duke football is the most solid program in one of the divisions, a league still has issues.

in case you were looking for any facts to add to your statement. The 3rd place team that had to play for the title beat the real USC in their bowl game.

YES! Clemson & FSU are a solid nucleus to build on. I think Miami & UNC programs are heading for big improvements with coaches that can coach and recruit. Georgia Tech will be a solid middle-of-the-pack team ... and the SEC has several teams like that as well. Louisville looks solid going forward. NC State should start living up to it's potential with the coaching change. Syracuse and Pitt have great football history and are doing the right things to get back there in 2 to 3 years. I don't believe VT will stay down for long. Their fan base will demand a return to excellence. If one is allowed the liberty of including the 3 new teams, the ACC was 6-3 in the bowl season ... the identical record of the mighty, unbeatable SEC. I hope some of the "we have to leave the ACC to survive" crap on this board will subside. THE FUTURE IS BRIGHT right where we are.
