ACC + BIG Super-conference

I support creating a new conference with the best Big Ten and ACC schools that would rival the SEC in athletics and blow them away academically. Something like:

Pod 1 - Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, Notre Dame

Pod 2 - Penn State, Boston College, Pittsburgh, Maryland

Pod 3 - Virginia, Virginia Tech, North Carolina, Duke

Pod 4 - Clemson, Georgia Tech, Florida State, Miami

I like it. Just not sure we will be bold enough to walk away from non football schools before it’s too late.

Each conference should be sliced up, take out a couple pieces and throw the rest away, and divide what was taken out into 4 divisions. That could probably be some pretty good competitive sports!!!

That's a joke right? You are including Georgia Tech and not Wisconsin? Propose an 8/8 split and maybe someone would bite. We are the lesser conference so we don't get to pick teams.

That OP is ACC homerism at it's worst. Without Clemson football, the ACC isn't worth a dime.

If we have a chance to bolt, gotta leave the ACC behind.
