to this years roster... who is it? (in their prime duh)
1. woody Dantzler- no QB worries. no worries about DW getting injured. were set with woody added to the roster.
2. keith adams- the LB corps is strong and instinctive as ever with keith added.
3. William perry- the beast alongside reader would be unstoppable. opposing qb's would tremble with fear.
4. levon Kirkland- 6'3 250 pound beast inside anchoring the entire defense.
5. Justin miller- on the other side of mac alexander. great CB duo.
6. cj spiller- wow what a offensive weapon to add to a tremendous offense.
7. Dequan bowers- awesome physical specimen to add to the dline.
8. vic Beasley- sure could use him another year.
9. jeff davis- all time playmaker at LB for CU. an absolute anchor for a young defense. watch the 81 national championship game if you have any questions.
10.- Charlie Whitehurst- terrific backup for Deshaun. again, no QB worries all season.
11.- brian dawkins- opposite jayron. physical monster leading a young defense.
12.- chris gardocki- sures up a suspect kicking unit.
13.- jeff bostic- a 3 time super bowl winner at center on a young oline. a hawg.
14.- terry kinard- a big, physical, all time great safety. pro bowler all day.
15.- kalon davis- yes kalon davis on this list. a big, quick, tackle who would take joe gores spot and make our oline solid, maybe excellent. think about him opposite battle this year.
who would you add???
my pick- William perry.

Got to think we would be in pretty good shape with an OT with this resume:
Consensus first-team All-American as a senior and First-Team Sporting News All-American as a junior...Outland Trophy finalist in 1990, the second Tiger so honored...First-Team All-ACC twice...had 141 career knockdown blocks, a record for an offensive tackle...two-time ACC Player-of-the-Week in 1990 and a six-time choice in his career, more than any other Tiger...Clemson won 40 games from 1987-90, fourth-most in the nation...11th-round draft pick of the Bears...named to Clemson's Centennial team (1996)...will be inducted into Clemson Hall of Fame in 2004.

Obed Ariri or Donald Igwebuke for Gardocki. Those boys were on a different level altogether.

Justin Miller. But not as CB. Flamed out after freshman year, underperformed.

YOU LEFT OUT ONE OF THE GREATEST DEFENSIVE PLAYERS EVER!!!

For my selection, I would choose GAINS ADAMS... For two reasons, 1. GAINS ADAMS would be alive again... 2. He tied Michael Dean Perry and Vic Beasley for the sack record. He was a monster of a pass rusher, and actually held a ton of tackles for loss as well. Always a constant threat to any offensive play when he was present on the field.

Gotta agree that Woody would be terrific in this offense if DW went down. What about Dwayne Allen? We haven't had a TE break out yet. What about a RT?
