Should the cases of Clemson, FSU vs the ACC be heard in Federal Court

Since these cases involve three state entities from different states, how can a judge rule his state is the only place to hear these cases. This does involve interstate commerce since it is a contract that governs every ACC school and hundreds of millions of dollars each year.

I'd say it will pretty much have to be, because you will probably have different rulings for these different state lawsuits.

That’s the path other conference exits were heading. Not sure if any ended up being heard in Federal Court before a settlement was reached.

I'm w ya Waterboy. That was my question in a different thread yesterday.
Why does this NC judge get to decide things are to be heard in his state? Are the SC and FL judges supposed to just be like "oh ok that's cool" ?
I doubt it.

I've reached the don't care stage. Nothing happens and you only enrich the lawyers. Why don't they do something and dare the ACC to collect. Md got away almost scot free when they left.

I always thought the same thing, why is this not federal court?
I’m sure Clemson prefers Pickens County.
Maybe at some point it ends up in federal court?

They're going to end up there anyway due to the issues crossing state lines.
