Absolutely NO REASON for Trevor Lawrence to pick UGA. They

are running the heck out of the ball and STILL cannot put a passing game together. This my be the worst two COMBINED South Carolina versus Georgia teams I have ever seen on the field at the same time.

I hope he has some pride in his home state and chooses the Bulldogs, and not leave the state. Also, I'm hoping that he doesn't want to run the football and would rather sit in the pocket. Also, who would want to wear orange and purple.

he would have not made it to NY last year, and no one would know his name.

UGA wouldn't be in this shape with Deshaun because he is what turn Clemson around. I don't understand why someone doesn't have enough love for their home state to leave.

Clemson is better with DeShaun, no doubt

but he is NOT what made Clemson. We were winning 10 games a year before he got here, and was having more success than UGA. He just added to it and provided a final piece. That is what Lawrence would do.
UGA cannot get out of their own way, made a terrible hire at coach, and now is taking what everyone thought was a can't miss QB and making him look awful.

Actually Clemson and Uga were winning at the same rate. Have you looked at their records over the years, and UGA record against Clemson since 2000.

Along with Tajh, we've been doomed when we lost: James Davis...CJ Spiller...Sammy Watkins...Chad Morris..

I grew up in columbia, moved to ATL for hs. Georgia doesnt have state pride quite like other states. Mostly because many residents aren't from GA. Also, Clemson is close enough GA to still be in the pipeline.

I haven't read all of the posts so if it's already been mentioned, please pardon my repeat .
Georgia's offense is geared to the run and always will be. Recruits realize this and that is why Georgia is successful recruiting the better running backs. QB's go to the pros, not for their running ability, but for their passing ability.
As for a recruit remaining in state, I know of no school that refuses to accept recruits from other states. Georgia, just like Clemson, wants the best no matter where the recruit lives. Many factors come into play in a recruit's choice of school. Eason, who Georgia wanted badly left his home state to go to Georgia. I seriously doubt any Georgia fan preferred for Eason to go to a school in his home state?
Clemson's offensive philosophy appeals to QBs and WRs and of course there are other reasons they choose Clemson. Yes, Clemson would like to get all of the best in state players but sometimes those best players decide to go elsewhere. In fact, over the years, Georgia has signed a large number of recruits from South Carolina, most of which, Clemson would have gladly accepted.
