I'm definitely more into the German style and Czech types of beers than the hoppy IPAs. I like Capitan Jack (nice low alcohol pool beer), but my two favorite OMB beers are seasonals - Bock Party (formerly Fruh Bock) and Mecktoberfest.

Their IPA is not bad, no OMB but not bad.

Beers, old fashions, daughter playing with all the other kids to exhaustion…Columbia needs a place more like that. Savage craft is alright, but OMB has tables set up around the play area.

Haven't been to OMB in a long time but the beer and the food were always good.

A nice facility there as well. Another big favorite was always Free Range in NoDa. They have maybe my favorite single craft beer in Charlotte...the cream ale. Their other beers are OK, but the cream ale is excellent. They were also one of the best music booking breweries in town before Covid. We saw a lot of great artists there but since the quarantine ended, they haven't done much music other than local musicians.
