I think you’re trying to single out a party and I’m saying it’s been problematic forever. Pass laws preventing ownership of individual stocks by elected officials if we want it to stop.

If I was looking to single out a party here I’d just go to P&R.

the individual stock ownership mandate. It appears to me that most politicians either get rich or filthy rich while "serving the people" but often it feels like they are just serving whoever can make them wealthy. Not sure there is a solution to this. And this is 100% an issue across the aisle.
