We went to landscape and start some final decorations. We get to use the master shower for the first time. Wife is in the shower... and it starts raining in the kitchen through a light. This has been par for the course here... everything... EVERYTHING has gone wrong.

a small little chip of wood that got squeezed between the rubber washer and the drain that caused exactly what you are describing.

I don’t think that’s supposed to happen.

I was wondering if it was a feature that you could load the dishwasher and take a shower at the same time through one of those new shower lights.

Reminds me of when we sold our last house. Contract done, closing in a week

and shower above the kitchen decides it is time to leak - no light fixture there, but ceiling in kitchen is wet.
We had 'a guy' thankfully that could fix it prior to the sale and final walk thru.
This house also developed a gas leak in the front yard a month before, gas company comes and says you have a leak and proceeds to dig up our whole yard basically.

We turned the faucets on to drip when it got cold. I went over there to replace the panel that got pulled off from Helene (i waited until everyone that needed power got theirs back on... I didnt want to slow anyone down that needed it).
Anywho... I went under the house and found a little puddle. Apparently, when we had the siding replaced, a nail went through the kitchen sink drain.
BUT WAIT! Thats not all. Apparently, the drain line goes past the kitchen wall, to the bathroom wall and ties into the vent line for the bathroom... behind the tub. So we are going to have to get to it from the outside.
I just pulled it and gave up on doing anything with that house right now.
