I’m very confused. YouTube tv does not show the cw. I can search for the cw and it shows what I can stream but nothing about live tv. It does not show on my channel guide. Btw I’m in Charleston. I downloaded the app and it seems to be the same way. Any tips? Tia

Actually you can do that if you don't load the app NordVPN on your TV. You can then change your IP address to a Clemson local area and make YouTube TV think you are local.

YouTube TV doesn’t offer the CW live channel. Unless you live in a city that has a local CW channel. The streaming app didn’t offer live programming.

I’m wondering the same as you. I was going to broadcast the app to my TV hopefully for the game, but I don’t see a live feed on the app. I’m getting anxious and irritated at the whole thing. My Directv stream said I don’t have the CW as part of my subscription. But I have all other upstate SC locals. WTH?

Try to contact DTV Stream, they had a dispute with Sinclair owned stations but that got resolved at end of August. For YTTV, you can change your zip code within your subscription settings one or twice per year (can’t recall) but it will tell you the details beforehand. You have to do it from your Google acct on the website. It’s available to change from inside the YTTV app.

Youtube TV carries CW in all of the local markets with an on-air CW affiliate. Is it available on-air in Charleston? If so, you may need to update your live channel guide in the settings in your Youtube TV account to add CW to the Live channel list.

Yeah that’s what I tried to determine. I hooked up my old antenna to see if any channel was the cw. No luck. Maybe that’s why Charleston youtube tv doesn’t have it.

That is exactly what I did. Click on your image in the top right hand corner, then settings and then something like channel line-up. Scroll down until you see CW62 and click on it so the cirle in filled in. Then you have it.

Yeah that’s the channel guide. An easier way is click on Live tv then look top right for sort. That’s a quick way to get you in to the channel guide.
I’ve looked at that guide and double tripled checked there is no CW. Thanks.

I have both YouTube and Spectrum so I will get the game but come on , A 2'Oclock kickoff. Did you ever think at the start of this season we would be watching the same channel that shows LIV golf.

YTTV let’s you roam outside your region with temporary access to your home region. Usually you will see a message asking if you’re traveling and just answer yes.

Here’s the deal.
1. You tube TV has live CW in some markets but not others. If it Doesn’t have it in your market like mine (Charleston) you cannot add it in any way shape or form that will get you live CW.
2. You can still search up CW onYTTV and stream shows, but they are NOT LIVE.
3. You can get the CW app and do the same as #2. STILL not live.
Solution. Get a $12 antenna, hook it up, search for local stations in your menu, then tune to channel 2.2 for CW live programming; and watch Clemson lose.
*there is a reason we are on the CW.

I’m in CHS. Go buy a OTA digital antenna for 10 bucks and run a channel scan -cw is on 2.2. Problem solved

I have YTTV with no local CW channel in my guide. However, I searched for Clemson and it popped up with an option to watch live. Watching now!

Another thing you can do is search YouTube for 'Clemson at NC State football live game'. There are entities out there that provide the game, bootleg style. You don't have to have YouTubeTV. We would not have been able to watch this thing were this not possible. Saw a Vietnamese commercial. Game was skippy at times but it was the game. First feed got shut down at halftime, we re-searched for the same and found another bootleg feed. Hey, you do what you gotta do.

If it’s on the CW, every week several people have streamed the whole games and YouTube didn’t take it down.
I watched the whole game on a feed out of Jacksonville & it was clear the whole game. I was thankful I didn’t have to go to an antenna.
