Former Clemson and Citadel coach Jimmy "Red" Parker, who continued coaching at the high school level until retiring last month, died Monday. He was 82.

Red did a good job 1974...75 and 76 were just horrible for Clemson

But...he & his staff was responsible for assembling players that in '77 & '78 jump started the program to national relevance again...

his staff recruited talented players (I.e. Steve Fuller) that were pivotal to Tiger's success
In late 70s...and later. Tiger fans should always remember him with great respect....
