Hope he comes to his senses and picks Clemson....he looks pretty solid. The "have totry to fail" pitch his buddy Key nonchalantly threw out there last week has the makings of a classic though...and so many kids today undervalue hard work in the classroom. Come on Mr. Green , a CU degree is worth the effort.

Rumor has it we backed off of Green and that is his reason for a surprising decision to attend Jr. College.

If we got him on campus...

...and he still wants to play for the Lamecocks instead of us, let him go. Having a close friend somewhere is a strong pull to a school; I'm not expecting a surprise here. Especially not since Key let the cat out of the bag that coot academics are a joke.

About time to let go on the "Key" comment don't you think? Already been established that is was well out of context with 2 media outlets retracted. Try and deal with reality....oops, I forgot I was on a Clemson board. My bad.

To have backed off a lot of recruits lately. I guess it traumatizes them so much they feel like they have to commit to SC.

I think they will only take Taylor Hearn and possibly one more. The 2015 cycle will be more focused on the offensive and defensive lines because we will be graduating a lot of guys on the two deep.

If it doesnt traumatize them and they dont detect the difference then they are numb from the adams apple up...which is about what they recruit down there at Sackerlina. Coots feel nothing above the chin strap.

However, if we pick up DJ Smith, I could really care less. Not to mention I'm still ecstatic about Mackensie Alexander (and Adrian Baker, Korrin Wiggins, Jayron Kearse, Cordrea Tankersley, etc. etc. etc.). Not a huge position of concern for us at the moment.

which is a bold prediction (he hasn't named Carolina as his leader), we are still out-recruiting yall in every way. Number one QB in the country, all I gotta say....

They out recruit us on skill positions but never on the LOS, which is the battle that has hurt them most over the last 4 years vs us. Clemson gets some amazing WR and RB and always has their share of 4 and 5 star guys, but thankfully they dont see the benefits of loading up on the line.
I was reading a thread the other day about high octane offense scoring so mich that you dont need a great D. I think this is true but Clemson would be terrifying with their offense and an SEC built defense.

First off Clemson cares just as much about defense as they do offence, why bring in BV to coach the D if you didn't care. They wouldn't have they would have just paid Joe Blow off the streets $100,000 to make it look like he was coaching. Clemson was the YOUNGEST team in college football for the 2011 season with something like 42 to 44 true and redshirt freshmen, thats dang near half the team (look it up if ya want). If you look to the years before the 2011 season you would see that Clemson was a perennial top 20 defense and if you knew anything about football you would also know that the defense is the hardest side of the ball to comprehend as far as responsibility and knowing the many different assignments depending on how the offense is lined up. So you add the youth plus what it takes mentally to play that side you can see where the Clemson D has had to grow up these past to season. Clemson will be much much improved on that side of the ball this year. As far as the trenches I will give you the O-line even though the ##### don't recruit that any better than Clemson but the D-line I would almost put the number of guys drafted off Clemson's D-line up against any program in the country all you have to do is a little fact checking before you go onto message boards typing things that sound good to a #### fan but is in reality just factually wrong. It isn't hard to make sure what your writing is true fact checking is something you should have done in middle school not trying to bust your chops but do some research before you come on a Clemson board saying they don't do defense or recruit guys for the trenches...

@ 18wheeler : You ARE on a Clemson board...which begs the question ; Why? I have never gone on any SCar site...and wouldnt think of it. Must be some sort of inferiority complex that keeps you defending your school on big brothers pages.
