A conference allignment wish.....

Nov 20, 2012, 10:47 PM

Big 12 expands to 16 teams immediately by adding Clemson, FSU, GT, NC State, VT, and UVA (only because these 2 may not split). Your eastern division becomes these 6, WVU, and one other current Big 12 school, so inconvenient travel logistics would be minimal.

This also serves as a defensive move and puts the SEC in a bind from an expansion standpoint. Look, if you are getting in a fight with someone bigger than you and you know the fight is inevitable, you might as well throw the first punch. Let's do this Big 12!!!!!

If there is no hope of a SEC invite, I could live with this

But I say drop the yearly rivalry with SC and rotate it with UGA, Auburn, SC and whoever else wants some! That way we can get in some of the other old rivalries and stick it to them for standing in our way to the SEC

I don't want to leave GT or FSU, but living in NC I really hope the ACC can hold it together. I am looking forward to a trip to Raleigh next season and a potential D.C. trip to Maryland.

Here are my 9 reasons why Lousiville is a good add (better than UConn) and an upgrade over Maryland. Please comment!
