Obviously the transitive property doesnt always apply in football. With that being said a clemson fan has to feel confident about the "palmetto bowl" when comparing SCAR and Clemsons seasons. Broken down simply.

Clemson- 1 loss to FL State When looking at this loss do you think SCAR would have won that game? I dont.

SCAR- 2 losses UGA Obviously clemson beat a healthy UGA team.
TENN I think we can agree this is a game clemson would most likely win.



Of course different teams match up differently on the field but one thing is for sure, Clemson has not lost to a team that SCAR would beat. SCAR has lost to a team Clemson has beat and also a team Clemson likely would beat.

Game is in columbia. Clemson hasn't played anyone remotely close to south carolina on the road. You would have lost at georgia and worse at fsu. Just fortunate they were at home. Not so lucky next year. You can dismiss 17 in a row all you want and say williams brice isn't a tough place to play, but you would be mistaken

You played 3 ranked teams at home over that 17 game winning streak. It doesn't scare me in the least bit. We could play in China and the best team is going to win every time, so don't give me that "you would have lost in Athens in August ########." Your time has come chicken, when you lose I hope you come back on over here to face everyone like a man rather than running back to your chicken coop to cry.

We beat GA at home - they lost to them at GA (the week after no less).
Yes - they lost to Tenn, but outside of GA they beat two teams that are a lot better than anyone we have beaten.
In fact, take out the Tenn loss and I'd probably have to rank them one ahead of us.
Regardless, the game will be won on the field and the best team may not win. Also there may not be a best team, though there definitely has been the last 3 years.

No one is over looking your home field advantage. Im simply stating that clemson fans can find some confidence in that this is a scar team that has lost to our one common denominator(uga) where as clemson has no loss scar fans can point to "transitive property" style.
