He had some pretty significant injuries...

He broke his left fibula. He tore his deltoid ligament (which required three surgeries to repair). That alone kept him off the field for three years. Then, he tore his right Achilles which knocked him out for yet another season.

So, he works in the rat race for 40 years instead of 45. Most of us wish we had stayed in college longer...he's doing it. If only I knew at 18 what I knew by 27.

you've got yourself sorted out and have completed 2 full years without major injury. Go play that last year and see what happens.
