Being a Clemson Grad , I’ve always been biased toward our 2018 team as the best ever. Outside of 2019 LSU, whom I think we’d beat because of our front four , how would ‘18 Clemson fare against those Cornhuskers? They often get brought up as the BEST Ever. Oh forget the ‘01 Hurricanes . We’re not talking future NFL Stars , talking ONE college game. So ‘18 Clemson vs ‘95 Nebraska…what ya say ?

The game is much different now, so its hard to know for sure but part of me has to give the nod to the 1995 Nebraska team. They embarrassed a 'fun n gun' Florida team that dominated their opponents in 95.

As I recall, Florida's run defense that year wasn't very good that entire year. That game was a perfect setup for a blowout, especially since Tom Osborne let Lawrence Phillips play (and did he deliver!)

OTOH, Nebraska's passing attack wasn't that good, certainly by 21st-century standards.

I'd give a slight edge to '18 Clemson stopping the run and forcing Nebraska to try to win through the air.

I made a thread a while back about 18 Clemson vs 01 Miami…Consensus was that Miami would have the edge, though Clemson could win at home. The 01 Miami team had the best roster ever IMO

I think 18 Clemson beats 95 Nebraska as long as we can find some points!
