80 years old is too old to be a candidate

Nikki Haley: 'The first party to retire its 80-year-old candidate is going to be the one who wins this election'
Trump: 77 years old Biden: 81 years old
Nikki Haley accuses Trump of being confused. Who else is confused?

It's not that difficult to understand

If the Dems abandoned Biden (who is already over 80) and ran a younger candidate, they'd win vs Trump. If the GOP abandoned Trump (who would be 80 during his term if he won) and ran a younger candidate, they'd win vs Biden.
How was that so confusing? It's called "generalizing" and it's pretty common and well accepted. Both Trump and Biden are in that age range and both would be in their 80s during a 2024-2028 term.

So, you are telling me that people do not understand the difference between cognitive ability vs age? They think the two are locked together? People go stupid as soon as they hit 80 years old? Trump at his current age would run circles around a 60 year old Biden. The left likes to generalize and categorize. There is no individuality. You belong to a group PERIOD.

Sure. Fine. It's not Biden level. But he is mentally not there. The only ones arguing otherwise are the ones who are in love with him.

He says sh>it like this all of the time. I can only imagine how incoherent he will be when his brain turns to Biden level Mush
"My uncle explained that to me many many years ago, the power, and that was 35 years ago, He would explain the power of what is going to happen, and he was right, Who would have thought? But when you look at what is going on with the 4 prisoners- now It used to be 3, Now it is 4- But when it was 3, even now, I would said: "It is all in the messenger. Fellas, and it is Fellas, Because you know, they Don't, they haven't figured that the woman are smarter right now than the men, so you know, it is going to take them about another 150 years- But the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us"

Sure Trump has better memory and such than Biden.

But Trump is mentally detached from reality. He is off the reservation, more so than when he was in office even. And he’s showing newer signs of mental confusion and cognitive decline.

Trump couldn't recognize his ex-wife in a photo during his deposition, has been confused about where his dad was born (done this three times) and gotten world leaders mixed up (not to mention thinking airports existed in the Revolutionary War) to name but a few of the examples. Watch any of his rallies and there are always some clear cognitive issues.
Trump has more energy than Biden so it appears like he's more "mentally aware" to people but I had a great-uncle who had dementia and he had a ton of energy.
I agree with you about Trump seemingly having the added problem of being detached from reality and adding that to all the other issues with Trump and it is frightening that he could be POTUS again. Biden shouldn't be running either, for that matter, and it sucks these are our choices.
