77 Game

Oct 3, 2015, 1:55 AM

Who on this board was at the 77 game. Although neither upper deck had been built, it was an awesome atmosphere. We should have won the game. Lets pay them back tomorrow night

IS this a public service announcement? If I wasn't there, do I have any rights?

drove all the way up from the coast, saw the game, and drove all the way back home the same day. That's the way we did it then. The games would always start at 1 p.m.. We'd leave around 5 a.m., have breakfast in Manning, get to Clemson in time to tailgate and enjoy the game. Leave after the game and we'd be in Columbia about the time the coot night games were starting. Sometimes we'd stop at a steakhouse in Columbia, sometimes not. We'd get back to the beach around 10:30 at night. Those were long days, but I loved every minute of them.

I was still in school, and here's my program and ticket stubs! In those days,
seniors got great seats!!! (was in the post-grad studio in the College of
Architecture that fall.)
