(now THAT is saying something) to answer my question as to where ANY blue has ever been one of our official colors ?
Guess what - as a Clemson grad in the Graphic Communications Dept - it has never been.
I think someone researched it and it started with basketball - no surprise. Our worst athletic endeavor leading the way in stupid things that aren’t Clemson …… Judge Keller®

what year did the official university colors become a thing? ... what i'm trying to say is the official university colors and uniform branding and nike contacts are newer things, like when graphics communication became a department (which was 1995) ... the blue predates all of this and it's now becoming lost . blue (a dark purple blue) did exist and was prevalent . i grew up in Clemson and saw it with my own eyes for my whole childhood . it is gone now
you could literally walk in and out of bilo and see a blue (dark dark purple blue) and orange crossed helmet . you could literally look at official Clemson letter heads , it was all a blue tiger on a blue Clemson Univerity logo . it's just the way it was. the examples go on and on .
i have a photographic memory and can really discern colors. i saw it . the blue is distinct ... i think a lot people once saw the wrong color in the whole grey va blue dress ordeal. I didn't so i don't even know what type of people i'm in difference of opinion with
blue was a thing. officially or unofficially... i'm very interested in learning the date that Clemsons official Regelia color was established . maybe it's the case that manufacturers couldn't reproduce it ??

and Sunburst Orange used to be listed as our official Purple and Orange.A lot of stuff was made with blue over the years,and it sucks.

He lists himself as 6-3 225 before the summer of his junior season. The TNet profiles are typically based on the last measured weight for different recruiting sites, which can be a bit scattershot on when they were updated.
