We Need UGA to win

What do you guys think?
It is very possible that UGA becomes the only active ranked team we play during the regular season. Even Louisville will likely be unranked when we play them because they play Miami and Boston College before we play them.
Obviously we need to win out. But if we were to barely lose the ACC Championship game to a high ranked Miami. I believe if UGA and Miami are both in the top ten those will be seen as quality losses for us and put us in the 12 team playoff. So, even though I can’t stand UGA we need them to stay on top of the SEC. A loss to a team like Kentucky could really make things worse for us later.
Sadly you have to look at things from many direction unless we win the conference championship and then it’s all good for us!

I have a hard time believing that they would put in 2 ACC teams regardless. They will be looking to get at least 3 SEC teams in.

The only thing that I’m worried about is Cade getting on the same page with the rest of his offense like he did last week. If we can do that, the rest will take care of itself

If we don’t win the ACC we’re out. Period. 11-2 Clemson is not getting in over a 9-3 SEC team

This isn’t BCS anymore. This isn’t even the 4-team CFP anymore.
The days of hoping your opponents win against other teams are over. All we need to worry about is winning the conference.

Now, that makes the most sense to me. I guess I was thinking with more of BCS mindset. That said, I always feel like perception still has impact. I guess the i only sure thing is what several have said. Just WIN WIN WIN and all our hopes for this team will still be in front of them.

We need UGA to win this game because the talking heads will compare Kentucky and Clemson. All you would hear is UGA held Clemson to 3 points but Kentucky an SEC school scored more points.

Not really. We have to win the ACC to get in. If we do that we are in without any eye test. To me winning the ACC is the worthy goal we should focus on this year. That and winning the state.

We control our own fate. If we can't get through this sorry ask conference with a trophy we don't belong in the playoff.
Our top 25 teams are there by default. Somebody had to be there. Clearly ranking FSU in the top was a mistake. The preseason polls mean absolutely nothing and anything founded upon those polls is just as foolish.
