You are correct. They always say it is what you do in November. Well, Alabama lost in November and there they are. The problem is figuring out a way to take out the preseason polls. I dont not give a crap what anybody says, GA nor ALA were the best in the SEC; yet they play for the NC. BCS=BS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its still not a playoff,the old way was better before this BCS,ESECPN controlled ######## waymore competative and more recruiting evan handed.

And if we go to 8, like I think we will eventually, the SEC will probably get 4. But until other teams beat them regularly, that will happen. I hate to say it but, the SEC is the best football conference. Therein lies the challenge for the others. I'm fine with all this because we finally have a chance to play this out on the field where it belongs. There normally are not more than a handful of teams that can legitimately claim they are the best. Now they will be able to prove it. Let's have a playoff system and let the chips fall where they may.

Now, that is a good post and very accurate IMHO. The SEC is the best conference for sure and it does give other conferences something to try to accomplish. The SEC has 5 teams that are really good - Ala, Ga, Fla, LSU, A&M. I don't know of another conference that can say that.
