Is the number 4 once again retired after DW? It is one of the most underrated stories in Clemson’s athletic history. The first QB in decades to wear the number 4 (Steve Fuller), and he earns number retirement as well. What a sacred number for Clemson football, and I kind of thought Cade might wear it.

Should be retired strictly for Deshaun imo. Fuller is a joke compared to Watson.

Steve was a great QB in the days of very little passing . He helped bring Clemson out of a gloomy time
and was never an embarrassment to our school.

but if i had to choose just 1 person to retire # 4.. i would pick Watson over Fuller and then send a very apologetic letter to Steve.

Clemson HOF inductee as soon as he was eligible but was not inducted this past class(may have actually been eligible last year also). Makes you wonder if enough lettermen are going to "blackball" him based post-Clemson allegations or at least let more time pass to see how things shakeout with him....
