If Greg Williams is to play at LB, it makes it much less desirable for recruits like Q. Crouch, Spencer Lyttle, Vonta Bentley or Nakobe Dean to commit.

Besides their stock will certainly rise once we show how serious we are and the season begins!
These four stars are often not far off from a three star and vice versa. We do have some issues in terms of recruiting forming special challenges this season.
But in the end we want the best we can get and I have to believe those kids are the ones our coaches are trying their best to sign.

Greg Williams wanted to go on because Clemson stands out above other offers like Coastal Carolina, ECU, Troy, etc...
Meanwhile, these other players have Top 10 programs constantly pulling at them, making their decisions only slightly more difficult.
Just surprised we didn't wait to offer Williams - I'm sure he'd still commit with a later offer.

What I get from y'alls sarcastic responses is that you prefer 3* LBs over unanimously top graded athletes and anything that isn't confirmation bias towards our team is wrong.

There's playing time up for grabs all over that position group next year. IMO we still have room for all those other ones and they should be confident about their ability to compete with the guys currently committed. Also wouldn't be surprised to see Williams move to DE with his length
