Be in the finals. I'm guessing they have a good shot at beating sc state or citadel next time they play. However, we will win the state championship on to a regional and then national. Citadel, hahahahaha!!' Go Tigers and thank you Citadel for making me smile.

Could be slow to develop down 5Pts way .

Don't worry. Their superior coaching will coach all of those guys up and beat that team from the upstate with no coaches only cheerleaders on the sidelines that can't even handle kickoffs.

@Classof09, what is your opinion of Clem vs USC strength of schedule next year?
We are playing a bad auburn team and some of the acc still...sucks. But Umass, West and East Carolina?? You can guess how I would pick.
Honest question, not trying to ruffle feathers (pardon the pun).

Agreed. I think VT and Miami (if they get facilities on track) can go back to competing for the costal.
It'll be interesting to see how the new coaches in the SECe do. Honestly both the costal and the east will make or break (maybe not that dramatic) their respective conferences in the next 5 years.
Whichever of the new coaches find success will find a lot of it I think. That goes for scar too.

I would say uga had a better hire than uva and Syracuse.
IMHO it went like this (best to worst)
VT, Miami, uga, uva, scar/Syracuse
Cause got a good coach, but he has to prove it at the P5 level. Chump has to prove he can recruit to a non automatic school and then coach those guys.

4 Star Javon Kinlaw will not make it in
Change of plans for USC commitment DE Javon Kinlaw of of Goose Creek. Instead of coming to USC this weekend for his official visit, Kinlaw is headed to Jones JC in Mississippi for an early enrollment. Kinlaw said the plan for him is to play one season at Jones and graduate in the summer of 2017. That will allow him three years with the Gamecocks starting in 2017. “I feel good about it,” Kinlaw said. “I feel like I can get it done.” Kinlaw had acknowledged during his recruiting process that junior college was a likelihood for him and USC took his commitment on December 23rd knowing he could be a junior college candidate. Kinlaw gives USC three commitments for the 2017 class.

Check out Mike Williams, hunter renfrow, Vic Beasley, and Shaq Lawson's recruiting profile. We have a top 10 coaching staff there's no doubt in my mind.

For sure. Although anecdotal evidence would say that Muschamp couldn't win consistently with blue chip guys, so he will be handicapped at scar where the name brand isn't there.
If he can release the reigns on the offense and just keep his good defense (cough cough auburn... Sorry) he will succeed.
If he recruits in the top 25 range, I see him going 5-7, 6-6, then 8-9 wins, then anywhere from 8-11 win seasons.

It's interesting to me that Muschamp held Alabama to comparable numbers as Venables did but this forum argues those defenses were vastly different in quality.
We will see how Muschamp does. People are putting too much of an emphasis on what happened at Floroda. You seem to have a good perspective. He could fail but there is no reason to think he surely won't be successful.

Chump couldn't coach up 4&5 star talent at Florida. No way he can coach up 2,3 and the few 4 stars he'll get at USuC.
In fact ,wasn't everyone on that staff fired or wasn't going to be retained at their last jobs ?

Clemson couldn't compete with FSU until we started matching their star rankings.
