i felt that the combination of those guys didn't work out that great. i felt that every QB we played looked like a Heisman candidate because they had all the time in the world

the other QBs always moved quick enough to pass it 5-10yards. it kind of hurt to watch year over year
|

Seemed like we gave every WR a 10 yard cushion. Maybe once some of those CBs get another year under their belt we can get up on some of those WRs and finally stop those routes. Makes your pass rush more effective when there aren't WRs immediately wide open early on every play.

We have 5 star cbs we should be able to run press man with another yr for them to develop. Pisses me off when we give easy completions playing soft zone.

It's the only way a team can compete anymore. Whether college or NFL. And Wes understands the new age with linebacker too. Got to be able to drop back and cover t h at soft zone.
Mukuba is puzzling though. I don't think it was his injury either. He didn't really miss tackles imo as much as assignments. Such a stellar year as freshman. Idk.

DT: Davis, Ruke, Page, Capehart and Tre Williams
Add in Peter Woods(think he may get a look at DE)
That is a hell of a group! Expectations should be very high

Mukuba played a lot of CB type football this year.
Clearly, CB isn’t his thing.
I hope he goes back to Safety full time in 2023.

Positive on them moving on is the chance to get younger guys more reps and develop them. Plus keep them happy with playing time so they don't run to the portal.
